My inspiration this week has been my daughter! She finds joy and humor in everything, and shares it with me all day. We laid on the carpet in the front room and laughed till our tummies hurt over our Once Upon A Time Stories. She told one that went as follows, "Once upon a time, nothing, the end". She found this so funny, she retold it for about 10 minutes! I am grateful for my daughters sense of humor. I am also grateful for the funny gestures she has always had (and I pray that she did not get them from me, for as cute and unique as they are for her, they would not be becoming on an adult!). Take her recently developed "Flintstones Angry Arms", her FAA. When she is mad she hunches over, sticks her arms out like the Flintstones characters, and has her say! It can be so hard to stay mad at your child when they do things like this, isn't that ironic, the times you need to be most mad and let them know what they have done is wrong, that is when they seem to say the funniest things! To have the simplicity, to devour the joy in the small things, to accept and love everyone, nothing will set a greater example to me or inspire me to be better than my children.

I can't believe how big Kaitlyn is! My goodness. Time goes so fast. Of course in my mind I know she is just a little younger than Ethan, but then again I can't believe that Ethan is as big as he is. Where does the time go? All I can say to your post is "amen". You've got it exactly right. My children never cease to amaze me with their simple faith and wonder of the world.
she is so cute!! I feel the exact way about Taylar!! Its amazing how innocent and fun everything is in their eyes. Whenever I start to feel really stressed I look at her with her pants on her head running around the house singing old mcdonald or once there was a snow man and I realize that wearing pants on your head is what is important in life.
I like that Heather, "Wearing your pants on your heard is what is important in life", I really, really like that!!!
