{ Did you know that today is Dr. Seuss' birthday?
He would have been 107 years old!
He wrote 46 fanciful books which sold over
200 million copies in his lifetime!
There is a memorial garden in Springfield, Massachusetts that was sculpted by the author's stepdaughter, Lark Grey Dimond-Cates, it features many of the odd and lovable characters Seuss invented!
His first book, And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street, was rejected by 28 publishers before finally landing with
Random House in 1937!
We did a little celebrating at work today! We made green eggs and ham for elementary and in house kids! It was yummy!

I made these today for our Supervisor's daughter, she shares the same birthday as Dr. Seuss.
