A few months ago I started Caitlyn in Girl Scouts.
She loves it.
Her troops leaders are awesome and the girls in her troop are so cute! The Daisies, like the older Girl Scouts, earn patches, but the Daisy patches are very unique. Each patch you earn is actually a petal and when all patches are earned creates a multicolored daisy!! Each petal's color pairs with a Girl Scout Law; honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, etc. Caitlyn had her awards ceremony on Wednesday and we were in charge of the treat.

I made the embellishments from homemade marzipan.
While very tasty, it was a little hard to work with. I think I know what I need to do for next time, so hopefully it will work out better!
