A Room With a View

This is what was seen from our front door this morning. Actually, from the time it took me to run from the front door to the back of the house to the art room to pick-up my camera and sprint back to the front door, it had cleared up a lot. When I first opened the door you could only see about half of what you are seeing now. Isn't it beautiful? I love the rising sun's desperate attempt to be seen through the fog. Times like this that I really love the scenes of winter.

Holy moley! When I first looked at the picture I couldn't even tell that I was your driveway! It really took me a second. That is amazing!

we were down in springville yesterday (sunday) and i was talking to abe about the mist and how weird it loooked. the clouds were so low it reminded us of seattle though not so dark. nothing is quite as dark as seattle on a cloudy day. this is a great picture.
