the pumpkin is always oranger on the other side of the patch

Uncle Joey, Aunt Heather, and Cousin Taylar drove all the way down from Salt Lake to go to the pumpkin patch with us. It was really fun, minus the fact that my office work was being a pain and we didn't get there untilit was dark. So we didn't get a chance to carve anything that night, but it was nice to have them visit as always and to see their new car! So we carved our pumpkins without them a few nights later.

Aubrey removing the pumpkin guts, and very, very unintentionally looking like a pumpkin herself.

anyone ever notice that when your pumpkin is cold those sharpies do squat?

If you know my husband at all once he gets an idea in his head, and if he follows through, the results are amazing. He took out all his fancy little dremel tools and sat at the kitchen table for about 2 hours creating this awesome Dr. Who Tardis. Sadly, all our pumpkins were wrinkled and deflated about two days after we carved them.

with the light

Walgreens had this awesome sale on those battery lights for your pumpkins so I grabbed a nice handful! Those lights are great!
